West Branch Public Library is happy to participate in Big Library Read, the world’s largest digital book club

Readers can borrow Michael McCreary’s memoir Funny, You Don’t Look Autistic without wait lists or holds.

Funny, You Don’t Look Autistic has been selected for the next Big Library Read, the world’s largest digital book club. From March 23-April 13, West Branch Public Library users will be able to borrow the eBook or audiobook format of the title with no wait lists or holds. Readers can take part in the two-week program by visiting https://bridges.overdrive.com/ or by downloading the Libby app. Big Library Read is facilitated by OverDrive, the leading platform for eBooks and audiobooks from the library.

Big Library Read is an international reading program that connects millions of readers around the world simultaneously with an eBook or audiobook through the library. Readers can join an online discussion about the book at BigLibraryRead.com. The free program runs for two weeks and to get started reading, all that is needed is a WBPL library card. The book can be read and listened to on all major computers and devices, including iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ phones and tablets, Chromebook™ and Kindle® without worrying about wait lists or holds. The title will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, and there are no late fees.
