WBPL is open, with a few considerations for the safety of our community. Here’s what we can do for you right now!
No-contact pick-up & Delivery
Just let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll get it to you. Contact us, use the chat box on the site, or reserve something online. For no-contact pickup, we’ll get everything together and get it ready to go for you in our Poplar St (parking lot) entrance. You’ll receive a regular notification when your reserves are ready to pick up, usually within a few hours or the next business day if you placed your request after closing.
Current pickup hours are 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday-Friday and 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Saturday.
If you don’t feel comfortable coming in, we can deliver, too!
Appointments are now available for use of services inside the library! Your 15-minute appointment may be used to browse our collection and check out items, use a computer, or use our printer/copier/fax/scanner. Appointments are for one family (children must be at least 14 years old or accompanied by a parent or guardian), and masks must be worn at all times and must cover your nose and mouth. Librarians are happy to help you, but please maintain 6 feet of distance. You can book appointments from 12:00 pm to 7:30 pm on weekdays and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturdays. Please contact the library in advance to set up your appointment!
If you expect to need a computer for longer than 15 minutes, our laptops are also available for use outside the library and in the parking lot for up to 2 hours. They need to remain on the library wifi and are not to be removed from library grounds. Library account required to check out laptops. Call ahead to make sure there’s a computer available before you come!

Check out Kanopy, new to the library in 2020. Kanopy includes many award winning movies and documentaries as well as many learning sets like the Great Courses videos. Kids videos include animated books of many great children’s books.
If you don’t have an internet connection at home or are going to be away from home, the library has 3 hotspots available to check out and bring the internet with you wherever you go. Contact the library to reserve one. Internet service is dependent on cellular reception.
