Pickup is inside our Poplar St (parking lot side) entrance during library open hours.
If you aren’t able to make it when the library is open, let us know and we can put your holds in a locker outside!
If you don’t feel comfortable coming in, we can deliver, too!
Information Databases
Access reliable information sources on many different topics, from the comfort and safety of your own home.
Highlights include:
- Brainfuse – Career assistance, adult learning, and veterans affairs support (coming soon)
- HelpNow – Homework help for students of all ages, including adult learners. Live tutoring, writing lab, skill building tools, question service, and language lab!

Chromebooks
The library has 2 Chromebooks available to check out. Unlike our laptops, Chromebooks can leave the library.

Internet Hotspots
If you don’t have an internet connection at home or are going to be away from home, the library has 3 mobile hotspots available to check out and bring the internet with you wherever you go.

Ebooks & Audiobooks
Through bridges.overdrive.com, West Branch and Cedar County residents have access to over 40,000 electronic books, audiobooks, and magazines.

Meeting Space
The library’s community room is once again available for use by outside groups. Please review the community room rules before booking the room. All regular library safety protocols must be observed, including mask usage and social distancing.
