As you read books and do activities throughout the months of June and July, you can earn PRIZES!
Registration begins at the library after Memorial Day, on May 27, 2024.

Kickoff Party!
Friday, June 7 at 5 pm at the library!
We’ll have tons of outdoor games and serve free hot dogs and snacks. If you’re not already signed up for the Summer Library Program, you can get registered at the event!

All ages are invited to read and do our themed activities this summer!
 | Early Literacy ProgramFor newborns through those finishing PreK.Pick up a bingo card at the library and earn prizes for reading and doing literacy-building activities with your littles! |
 | Children’s ProgramFor kids finishing Kindergarten through those finishing 5th grade.Pick up a bingo card at the library! Read and do the activities to earn prizes! |
 | Teen ProgramFor youth finishing 5th grade through 12th grade.Pick up a bingo card at the library! Read and do the activities to earn prizes! |
 | Adult ProgramFor those 18 and over (or anyone finished with high school).Sign up and get your bingo card! Every bingo earns a prize from our grown-up treasure chest. Turn in your cards for a chance to win one of three grand prizes! |

During the summer we have weekly storytimes and activities at the library and around the community! These programs run through the months of June and July.
Cubby Park Storytime (Kids & caregivers) – Wednesdays at 10:00am @ WBPL
Enjoy a story, then play at Cubby Park (301 Scott Dr)!
WBPL Teens (6th – 12th Graders) – Wednesdays at 1:30pm @ WBPL
Activities, snacks, and fun for middle and high schoolers.
Thursday Theater (All ages) – Thursdays at 1:30pm @ WBPL
Afternoon movies for all ages! Movie list (TBD)

Dinosaurs Come to West Branch – Tuesday, June 10 at 6:30pm
We have a T-rex! Dinosaur encounter with an adult T-rex, baby dinosaurs, photo ops, and a Q&A with the dinosaurs’ handlers!
Juggler in Yellow Shoes – Tuesday, June 17 at 6:30pm
Family-friendly comedy routines, a wide variety of juggling, zany balloon twisting, and audience participation!
Scavenger Hunt at Cubby Park – Tuesday, June 24 at 6:30pm
Like the library scavenger hunts? Come to Cubby Park (301 Scott Dr) for a special summer edition! Afterward, join us for stories and play at the park.
Nature Talk with Sarah Subbert – Tuesday, July 8 at 6:30pm
Experience nature up close and personal with Sarah Subbert from Cedar County Conservation.
David Casa Magic – Tuesday, July 15 at 6:30pm
David’s magic show is family-friendly and completely unforgettable!.
The Dealt Hand Game Night – Tuesday, July 22 at 6:30pm
Great for adults and family fun! The Dealt Hand brings a huge selection of games and teaches you how to play.

West Branch Murder Mystery – Friday, June 27 at 6:30pm
Solve a fun mystery with us at the library, for ages 18 and over.
Woodland Wildflowers w/ Sarah Subbert – Monday, July 21 at 7pm
Sarah Subbert from Cedar County Conservation will talk about native wildflowers and answer your questions!
Library After Hours Movie Night – Date TBD 7pm
Catch a movie on the big screen with free popcorn! Check back for movie title. Adults 21 and over only.
