Dolly Parton Imagination Library

Cedar/Jones Early Childhood Iowa is working hard to promote the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program that gives children 0-5 years of age a specially selected book each month!

Why?

Dolly wants children to be excited about books and to feel the magic that books can create. She also ensures that every child can have books, regardless of their family’s income. Reading together helps gives kids a great start before entering Kindergarten.

How it works

Each month, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails a high-quality, age-appropriate book to all registered children, addressed to their own name, at no cost to the child’s family. Countless parents have shared how excited their child is when their new book arrives each month.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is managed by Cedar/Jones Early Childhood and supported through many public and private funding sources.
